Bethany is the producer of Grief in the Raw Podcast. Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Bethany brought her southern hospitality and talents to Las Vegas to open the Haze Nightclub at Aria Resort & Casino.  During her 15-year run in the competitive Las Vegas nightlife & day club industry, Bethany built relationships with many powerful, talented, and influential people in all realms in the entertainment industry.
Getting her start in the media space as an on-air NBA analyst for Fox Sports Radio in 2011, she used her radio experience becoming a podcast host, producer, editor, audio engineer, creative director, and content creator. Bethany enjoys working with other creatives and executives, forever a sponge in any room she’s in; she has become a multitasking maestro in the entertainment industry.

Mitch Marchand is an Emmy nominated writer, producer, comedian, husband, father and so much more. His transference across brands has positioned him for greatness in the entertainment industry, with a career that spans over 20 years. Originally from Queens, (#HollistoHollywood) Mitch has taken his talents to in front of the screen in iconic pictures of Black Cinema, including Juice, Don’t Be A Menace to South Central While Drinking your Juice in the Hood, and Most Wanted just to name a few. As a writer, his craft is unmatched, from being a writer for the Emmys, Oscars and head writer for the BET Awards 2024. Marchand is nominated for his first Emmy this year for his work as writer on CBS's "John Lewis: Celebrating A Hero" special, hosted by Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry and Brad Pitt.

Jeffery Smith is the composer of music for Grief in the Raw Podcast. Jeffery Smith is a proud husband and father of 3. His primary occupation is that of being a dad but he also owns an interstate moving company (RDU Delivered), coaches, trains and plays basketball, composes music, and restores cars. Though he does many things to generate income, Jeffery measures his success by the impact he is able to have on those around him.

April is the founder of Fresh Wave Care, LLC and the creator of The Millennial’s Guide To Caregiving™ brand.  April has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field and has a strong passion for addressing the needs of family caregivers. Her love for working with seniors and their caregivers led her to obtain a Dual Master’s degree in Business Administration and Gerontology.  After completing that program, she was instrumental in creating and developing a 501 © (3) non-profit organization to meet the needs of the caregivers in her church and the surrounding community.  Through that organization and through her past work as a Family Caregiver Support Specialist,  April has provided support to hundreds of family caregivers and has connected them to valuable resources that empower and equip them on their caregiving journey.
